NovaEd was born when a group of industry and academe leaders met to discuss the opportunities and needs of the country’s fast-growing IT industry. The discussions prompted them to fund a research that would seek to determine the optimum solution to the issue of the scarcity of IT talent currently posing a major challenge to the industry. The research validated their initial assessment that the shortage was mainly due to the lack of properly-skilled and appropriately-trained IT graduates. The skills gaps between the output of IT schools and the requirements of the IT job market gave impetus to the establishment of NovaED IT Training Services, Inc.
NovaEd was established with a vision to enhance employment among fresh graduates by providing complete technical and soft skills training to help them sustain high performance and attain success in their careers and eventually adapt to the growing IT industry demand for the right talent at the entry-level.
